J. Pratt construction did a great job making exterior repairs from Hurricane Helene. They were extremely professional, communicated through the entire process, and took great pride in making sure the job was done right. Josh is very honest and up front and the process and job requirements. It was a great experience overall.

We purchased a home that was sorely lacking in main bathroom amenities. Once we moved in, it was apparent that the low clearance shower would not work for a tall person. We understood quickly that the bathroom would need a complete overhaul and not just an update. We reached out to Josh to begin the estimate process. We had a few ideas of what our project would need. Josh arrived, and of all of our estimators, he spent the most time reviewing our space, taking measurements, and discussing potential resolutions to solve our poor bathroom design issues.Once in contract with Josh, he communicated timelines regarding choosing materials like tile and fixtures, to demo day, and the commencement of the bathroom rebuild. This bathroom remodel was a major project that included moving a load bearing wall to accommodate my goal for functional closet space and better utilized space in the new bathroom.Josh executed and managed the work, communicating through each step, with us, where we were never left wondering what was next or where he or when of his subs was in their part of the project. He took great effort to clean up at the end of each day and committed to keeping a lived in space in the rest of the house from spiraling into chaos as the project continued.We are in and using the completely changed main bathroom. The pictures do not do it justice. We appreciate being able to shower without squeezing in under a too short shower fixture. Working with Josh was incredible. He was honest and reliable with great communication throughout the entire process. House projects always come with surprises, but even in the midst of having to adjust and fix some unexpected problems with a much older home, Josh tackled it head on and was able to deliver on time and on budget. His team of subcontractors were fantastic as well, and every interaction was a reassurance that we had the right people working on our house.
